Frequently asked questions
How much does Norwegian company registration cost?
Brønnøysund charges a fixed government fee. Our advisory and document handling fee is on top — fixed pricing, ask for a quote.
Do I need a Norwegian board member?
NUF requires a Norwegian business address but not necessarily a Norwegian board member. AS has residency requirements that can be met by EEA residents or via dispensation.
Can the entire process be handled remotely?
Yes. Fully digital with BankID/eIDAS signing, or via power of attorney plus notarised passport for foreign owners.
Is VOEC enough for my online store?
VOEC covers B2C goods < NOK 3,000 and digital services. Once you sell B2B, hold inventory in Norway, or sell items > NOK 3,000, you need standard VAT registration.
