FAQ Frequently asked questions
Is Intermediary AS a public authority or a designated provider?
No. We are a private B2B advisory firm. We do not obtain official documents on the client's behalf and do not file with the authorities. The client makes their own decisions and submits any registrations directly to Brønnøysundregistrene, Skatteetaten and Altinn.
What is the difference between NUF and AS?
A NUF (Norwegian-registered Foreign Branch) is a Norwegian branch of a foreign company — typically faster and with no share capital requirement. An AS (Aksjeselskap) is a standalone Norwegian limited company with NOK 30,000 in share capital and its own legal identity. Which form fits depends on your structure, liability and tax optimisation — this is the core of our advisory.
How long does a consultation take?
The initial consultation typically takes 45–60 minutes. A written recommendation and roadmap is delivered afterwards.
What does it cost?
The initial consultation is offered at a fixed price. Price and scope are agreed in writing before we start. Contact us for a quote.
Can you take over the actual registration?
No. The registration with the Norwegian authorities is performed by the client themselves — we advise and guide through the process, but we do not obtain or submit official documents on the client's behalf.
